The Loft Pilates is an oasis where everyone, staff and clients alike, will have equal opportunities to learn, grow (spiritually, mentally, physically and intellectually) in a safe, enthusiastic, respectful, educated and honest environment so that we can all enjoy a healthier, more balanced and richer life.


STUDIO POLICIES


Cancellations and missed classes

The Loft requires 24 hours notice to change or cancel a class (private and group) for any reasons, including illness or emergency. Should you give less than the 24hr, your class will be charge. Should The Loft cancels with less than 24hr, your class will be free.


Registered Group Classes: Make-ups and refund policies
  • Packages purchased gives you priority over drop-ins and must be used before the term ends and must be used before the term ends.
  • Each student can make up as many as 2 classes (for packages of 12), or 4 classes (for package of 24), or 6 classes (for a package of 36) at his/her convenience.  To ensure your space reservation is necessary.
  • You can transfer any registered class that you cannot attend to an individual of your choice. Simply let us know.
  • Should you know in advance that you will be missing classes, you can make-up those classes ahead of your absence.
  • Registered group classes can not be substituted for private sessions
  • You can make-up a mat class into a reformer class for an additional fee of $5.
  • Withdraw from your registered class minus a $20 administration fee will be granted prior to the first day of the designated term. Thereafter, you may transfer your remaining classes to a person of your choice.
  • In the event that you incur an injury or suffer from an ongoing illness that prevents you from participating in you registered class, please contact the Front Desk to discuss the matter. Each case is dealt with on an individual basis.
Drop-ins and drop-in cards
  • Priority goes to registered participants.
  • Drop-in cards must be used within the term of purchase.
  • To reserve a space and/or check availability, please call 416-604-0177.
  • If no prior reservation has been made, spots available will be offered to those waiting on a first come, first serve basis.
  • You can combine any mat classes of your choice .
  • You can attend a reformer class with you drop-in card for an additional cost of $5.
Term and Class length:
  • Consultation classes are 1 hour, 20 minutes. All other classes are 1 hour long with a few minutes to answer questions. Yoga classes are 1h30 minutes.
  • The Fall, Winter and Spring programs are 12 weeks long. Summer program are 8 weeks long.
HOME RULES
  • Phone: cute little toys but very distracting. Kindly turn off your phone prior to attending your class.
  • Perfume: A lot more people are sensitive and/or allergic to artificial scents. Please be mindful when using perfume, especially before a class. Try avoiding it if you can.
  • Noise:  A sign is posted on the studio entrance door to inform you on the status of the classes. Kindly be mindful of others keeping your voice down while classes are in progress. Thank you.
  • Punctuality: The first 10 minutes of the class are dedicated to centering your mind and body, to mobilize your joints, and warm up your musculature. It is the platform of the remainder of the class and therefore very important. With this in mind we will not allow anyone to join in a class if that person is more than 10 minutes late
